The Hudson's Bay® Barbie® is an independent, creative spirit who follows these personal mantras: Strive to better yourself; wear your heart on your sleeve; be kind and be brave; and, most importantly, always seek adventure! This doll was designed by Carlyle Nuera (the man behind BMR1959) in collaboration with the Hudson's Bay Company Collection Design team. On the Model Muse body with the Aphrodite face sculpt, this is the best of the Hudson Bay Barbie dolls.
This doll has an historic pedigree representing a company that's over 300 years old. She stands in front of the Hudson's Bay store in Toronto, Canada, wearing a modern take on the iconic Company Point Blanket, styled as a classic duffle coat and matching pencil skirt. These are worn with an understated black turtleneck sweater, a knit tuque, and sassy ankle boots. The doll has an abundance of great accessories for additional play value: chic jewelry; a bold watch; oversized RX glasses, and a fab carry bay; as well as a signature-striped mug for a hot drink. Her pet poodle, Little Hudson, is also dressed for success in a multi-stripe dog coat. Included are doll-size smartphone and a copy of the Hudson's Bay times.
